Meet the “Chamber Orchestra” project! Through Brazil’s Rouanet Act, we embraced the project based in Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo, SP, Brazil, whose goal is to bring culture and social inclusion through classical music to underprivileged children and adolescents in the city.
This is the Chamber Orchestra of Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo, SP, Brazil, which serves children from age 8, especially in the Vila São José metropolitan area. There, they learn to play the violin, classical viola, cello, and bass. Lessons are given at the Social Assistance Reference Center (Centro de Referência de Assistência Social – CRAS).
